K Koke releases the official video for his track 'Lay Down Your Weapons'.

A few days ago, I dropped K Koke's latest track, 'Lay Down Your Weapons' featuring label mate, Rita Ora. Just over three hours ago, the North London Roc Nation signee dropped the visuals for the song.

Starring South London's Ard Adz, the video sees the guest star enrol into prison life as Koke raps a warning about street life, from an experienced point of view. Rita chimes in at the chorus with her plea for the violence to be stopped:

Lay down your weapons, weapons to me/That means everything/Can we avoid war, search and destroy all/Learn what to live for, that means/Lay down your weapons, weapons to me

Koke has been short-listed for MTV’s Brand New for 2013, which has identified UK artists including Conor Maynard last year and previously Jessie J, Tinie Tempah and Wretch 32. Vote for him here.
